Wood Stair Components

Traditionally, stair systems have primarily been built from wood components. In fact, the majority of stair parts that go out of WHI’s doors are in some capacity made of wood. With the help of our trusted suppliers, WHI has sought to stock a large variety of stain grade and paint grade wood stair parts. These stair parts can range from handrails, balusters, newels, shoe rails, fillets, treads, risers, skirtboards, and starting steps.

Iron Stair Components

Iron balusters and newels have grown very popular over the past several years. There are literally hundreds of iron baluster patterns to choose from, ranging from elaborate and unique to more conventional and simple. Finishes include flat black, satin black, powder coat, antique bronze, oil rubbed bronze, oil rubbed copper, ash gray, nickel, and more.

Other Stairs Components

We know there is a lot that goes into building a staircase or balcony and WHI wants to make sure you have the ability to custom design your stairs to best fit your home.
